Friday 2nd July 2004 or early Saturday 3rd July 2004.

Bookings

                 – Camp Site – Kin Kin General Store 5485 4177 man confirms that Kin Kin Sports Grounds camping fees are $5 per person per night; and $10 key deposit for the toilet/shower facilities.

On Thursday 3 June 2004, Tanya indicated that there were plenty of sites available for nights of Friday & Saturday 2nd-3rd July, as no one else had booked, so we can probably spread ourselves about the site (you decide who / how many of you are in each tent!!). I booked 6 persons/sites for Friday & Saturday.

Pack for the trip using Bob’s Bike Book list, provided by Robyn! Thanks Robyn.

You need to carry supplies – water, food, snacks, tools, tubes, etc. for your needs whilst peddling on Saturday from Kin Kin around the 33Km circuit to Kin Kin.

Note : Limited services en route are indicated on the itinerary sheet under Facilities.

Similarly you need supplies on Sunday from Kin Kin around the 17Km circuit to Kin Kin along the country lanes and pathways.

Note : Limited services en route are indicated on the itinerary sheet under Facilities.

Mobile Phone Coverage

I understand that there is coverage within the townships of Cooran, Pomona and the lesser hamlets like Kin Kin.  Beyond those localities, coverage is probably OK from the horizon / hill-tops that we traverse, but in the hollows it is doubtful.  However, this will allow us some spontaneity and pragmatism should the need/inclination arise during the trip.

‘Public’ landline phones are not available on Saturday’s route, but we have ‘line-of-sight’ to mobile towers??  ‘Public’ landline phones are available at Kin Kin General Store 5485 4177, and Kin Kin Healthy Life Retreat (en-route Sunday).

Hoping you have a great week-end – Why be L, when you can be J !!!
